Tell us about yourself—where youre from, your interests, and what youre passionate about.

Originally, I'm from California, and over time, we gradually made our way eastward. So now Im in Castlerock, Colorado, just south of Denver, and I've been living here with my wife and kids for over three years. We love taking advantage of Colorados outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, and exploring lakes and mountains. There are so many fun things here and we’re trying to take advantage of all the beauty we have around us.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and playing music—piano, guitar, and singing. I also enjoy dirtbike riding on occasion, which might have me needing Luna’s physical therapy services one day!

Can you tell us about your professional background and what led you to this role?

I met my wife while she and I were working for a physical therapy clinic my uncle owned and managed. At the time, we were both interested in becoming therapists, so we started as techs and met while working there. I later earned my graduate degree in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota. Afterward, I returned to California and worked for several health systems, including Sutter Health and Providence. We then moved to Utah, where I joined Intermountain Healthcare where one of my responsibilities was to develop strategy alongside the rehabilitation inpatient-outpatient team. Most of my experience has been in strategy, and I aim to bring that expertise to Lunas amazing team.

Most recently, I worked at One Medical, where I focused on landing partnerships with health systems and developing those relationships. This experience led me to Luna, where I am now dedicated to supporting our therapists and enhancing patient care through strategic initiatives and health system partnerships.

What attracted you to Luna?

Coming from the health system world, I know that quality drives success. Lunas commitment to providing personalized, high-quality care to patients is what drew me in. The companys innovative approach and top-notch results are exciting to share with health systems. Given my early interactions with physical therapy, how I met my wife, and my strategic work with Intermountain Healthcare, joining Luna felt like a full-circle moment.

What are your short-term and/or long-term professional goals and how does Luna fit into that?

Throughout my career, Ive moved from health systems to One Medical and now to Luna. Over time, Ive come to appreciate how upcoming, disruptive companies can significantly impact the industry for the better. Luna is well-positioned to do just that, with a team that understands how to grow a unique and important concept. My goal is to pursue and expand more of these innovative ideas that can transform healthcare.

The industry needs people who can push boundaries and bring about significant change. This passion for challenging the status quo and improving patient care is why I entered healthcare about 15 years ago. I want to be part of an organization that provides exceptional care and equips providers with the tools they need to do that. Luna fits perfectly with these goals, offering the potential to revolutionize the healthcare landscape.

What are your immediate priorities in your new position?

Developing relationships and strategic partnerships with top notch health systems across the country. My colleague Charles Bloom and I are responsible for teaming up on a national approach to health system partnership growth. We aim to improve our reach with our incredible therapists and ultimately improve access for patients across the country, growing the scope of Luna and our touchpoints.

What excites you most about working at Luna?

The unique concept behind Luna. It’s innovative, it’s making a positive impact on people’s lives, and it’s the right kind of disruption that healthcare needs. But I am also excited about the collaborative environment. I’ve already learned so much from my teammates, and I’m always looking for an atmosphere that is team-based and allows for autonomy and growth.

What motivates you to do what you love?

Healthcare is a unique industry because of how much we all within it can impact people’s lives. That’s what drew me to healthcare in the beginning, and I’ve been fortunate that every organization that I’ve been a part of focused on that core mission: enabling a quality experience for patients and their families. For me, that’s what it’s all about.
